We just can't get enough of these little beauties! The Genelec 6010A is perfect for use with a personal computer, iPod, Sonos zone player and smaller 5.1 systems. The gorgeous design, available in Black or White, is the perfect add-on to your Mac, and they are so small you could easily take them on your travels and have Genelec quality sound in your hotel room! The bigger 6020A gives you 2 x 20w per speaker and a larger drive unit for the more permanent system. In either case don't let the modest specifications fool you, the 2 x 12w 6010a can handle a continuous output of 93dB with peaks reaching 102dB at 1m distance!!!!!!!!!!

The ideal partner is the 5040A subwoofer (below), an equally stylish wee number with a cute little volume controller cast in exactly the same alien design as the subwoofer itself!

The partner in crime to the 6010a and 6020a speakers is the matching style 5040a subwoofer (or as we call it - the wee spaceship). Another modestly specified product, it's 40w amplifier would suggest that it's not the strongest subwoofer to grace our books. But as with everything Genelec to think such a thing would be to miss out on one of the best compact subwoofers we've heard! It can reach down to 35Hz and average 98dB output at full whack, but this with an almost perfectly flat frequency response at every level.

Featuring 6 RCA input and output connections on the underside of the unit, you can run your 5.1 pre-out connections to the sub which then crosses over and feeds up to the 5 channels acting as the bass channel and LFE for each. It also handily features a 3.5mm jack input to run directly from your laptop or iPod!!!
